Parks To Play At In Palm Beach | Fine Art Photographer

An incredible perk of living in the Sunshine State is that there are always parks to play at in Palm Beach. As a fine art family photographer, I am blessed to be able to utilize some of the most gorgeous outdoor spaces for all kinds of sessions. Especially for those big milestones, like celebrating one years-old, playing in the park with your family is a beautiful backdrop for timeless memories. Plus, who doesn’t love a cake smash session?

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park

Of course I couldn’t include a list of parks without having one on the beach! This is a barrier island protecting rare plant and animal habitats, so you and your littles can explore some really special wildlife before splashing in the waves. They have a nature center on the property, your family can picnic, surf, swim, and even snorkel! A beautiful day on the beach can quickly become a new family tradition.

Royal Palm Beach Commons Park

A sprawling waterfront property, Commons Park has basically everything you could want in a park. There is a paved path weaving through the landscape to take in all the beautiful scenery, and plenty of fun things to do along the way. They have covered playgrounds, splash zones, a cafe, pavilions, and golfing! Sometimes used to host festivals and live music, this park has something to please everyone. 

Mounts Botanical Garden

The Mounts Botanical Garden is Palm Beach County’s oldest and largest botanical garden. With 20 acres and 25 display gardens, these gardens are unique and stunning, and will no doubt impress your kiddos. Stroll through the space and take in some of the most tropical and special plants. Also worth noting, they’re having a family day event on November 23! It’s the grand opening of the Ribbit Exhibit, so if you have a kiddo with a fascination for amphibians, mark your calendars!

Affron Park

With a bike path, open green space, picnic areas, and playgrounds, this park is the perfect family spot. This is a classic family outing waiting to happen! Bring your littles and come for play dates, or just go walking with your newborn throughout the walking path. No matter what reason, visiting Affron Park is never a bad idea.
