Frequently Asked Questions

HOW LONG IS MY SESSION?

A typical Signature Session takes up to one hour. Newborn sessions are two to four hours. We allow plenty of time for feedings and diaper changes!

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

After our session wraps up, we will schedule your in-person appointment. That takes place around two to three weeks after your initial session.

IS WARDROBE INCLUDED?

Yes! I have gowns for mamas from sizes 0-16, and I have clothes for the kiddos from newborn to one year. The majority of clothing that you see on my website is from my curated, high-end client closet. If you see a piece you love, send me a link! I will be sure to put it aside for you so you have it for our session. After our session together has been booked, I will send you a styling guide as well. I am happy to chat via email or text!

**All dresses are dry cleaned and steamed before your session. I also provide a dress consultation if you’re interested in that! Please note that dress consults are done on specific days!**

CAN MY PET BE IN THE SESSION?

Although I love and appreciate your furry family members, due to any potential allergy and sanitary precautions for all my clients, pets are not allowed to participate in studio sessions.

What Do Newborn Sessions Consist Of?

Newborn photography is so special, but I completely understand that it can seem a little bit overwhelming, especially for pregnant mamas trying to book a newborn session! I know you want to pick a newborn photographer that is right for you, and I know you probably have so many questions. Here is a little guide of what to expect from a newborn session with me, what I offer, and what makes me a full-service, luxury photographer.

A lot of newborn photographers you’ve likely seen do certain poses and use a ton of props, like buckets or intricate backgrounds, and they might put your baby in a lot of accessories. As cute as that kind of newborn photography can be, I prefer to have baby led, natural sessions. My main goal is to capture your baby as they are, and how they exist with you! The bells and whistles make good images sometimes, but I approach newborn photography through a more lifestyle lens. I never want to add any stress to your baby.

The best time to capture your newborn is within the first 14 days up to three months after birth. They are their sleepiest then! I focus on all the beautiful details like their little ears, fingers, and toes and those sweet baby rolls!

With my approach, each newborn session is different, and totally unique to you and your baby. My West Palm Beach photography studio has a warm, safe, and cozy atmosphere. I will photograph them as they stretch, curl, smile, and yawn.

I choose not to have busy backdrops, props, or outfits. Instead, I invite you to my light and bright studio for timeless, classic imagery. I can also assist with wardrobe and offer my high-end client closet with over 80 dresses to choose from! If you see a dress you like, send me an image and I’ll be sure to set it aside for your session.

I suggest booking at your 20 week scan to ensure you have your session reserved when your baby arrives. I take a limited number of newborns per month to allow for early and late arrivals. As soon as your baby arrives, you can email me, and we will get a date on the books!

My ultimate goal is to capture your baby as they are, their personality, and their quirks! All newborns are special, and no newborn is ever the same. I love to photograph the emotion and connection between you and your baby. I never pose during my session, I merely give gentle direction and guidance to get the most natural and beautiful portrait. shots.
