As a West Palm Beach newborn photographer, I love to put the focus of natural newborn sessions. I think that your little one should be the main focus, and I don’t want to overwhelm them with too many props and outfit changes. When you have something as beautiful as a newborn, all you need for stunning heirloom photos is for them to be their sleepy selves. For me, the goal has always been to bring out the serenity for families with their little ones. 

I’ve talked before about the stylistic choice to have baby-led sessions. Creating a calm and peaceful environment in the studio for your precious newborn is always my focus. If they want to snooze the whole session, or if they’re  alert and curious, it’s all amazing. No matter what, we are going to capture the timeless, artful imagery you can cherish for generations. 

Approaching newborn photography through the fine art lens is the best way to ensure classic photos. That’s not to say they’re not modern; the styling of the session creates a contemporary feel. Making sure all the outfits flow in coordination, but aren’t too matchy-matchy is the key. You should be able to look back at your newborn’s portraits and remember exactly what it was like in the studio that day, and reminisce on the beauty of it all. 

Natural newborn portraits are perfect for images that will be loved for generations. Once your child is grown, they can appreciate all the love and care they had from the moment they entered the world. As a parent, you can look back and marvel at how beautiful they’ve always been.
