Why I Love Black and White Photography | Fine Art Photographer 

As a fine art photographer, I understand that creating timeless memories of your family is so important. That’s always the goal with photo sessions! But, when the images are being captured through a fine art lens, it’s key to make sure the results will be classic. Black and white photos retain a truly timeless beauty that will never go out of style. It so wonderful for lifestyle family photos. 

I’ve talked about this many times before, but my focus is to ensure that your family is the art. The images from our session together should be celebrated by your family for generations. From stunning wall galleries or beautiful heirloom albums. I want you to be able to look back at the memories from our time together and find a new aspect of beauty each time. Smile at the moment and resounding echoes of laughter, love and happiness from that time. 

Black and white imagery is as timeless as it gets, and pairs perfectly with my fine art approach. Of course, in your final gallery there will be color images as well. But, it’s always good to have a few favorite black and white images to use for years to come. A captured moment can become a true art piece, from a newborn baby yawning to happy playing in the studio garden. Creating those moments that you know could never be recreated naturally are the most special.
