Palm Beach County is an incredible place to raise a family, although maybe I’m slightly biased. As a mama of two who lives here, and a family and newborn photographer who works here, it’s safe to say that I absolutely adore it. If you’re still not convinced, I decided to come up with a list of some of the best family-friendly, new development communities in the area. 

Arden

“Fresh air, fresh food, and a fresh way of life” is an amazing way to describe Arden. Just 20 minutes from West Palm Beach and 30 minutes from downtown West Palm Beach! Arden is a neighborhood that was built on housing families searching for an active, loving community. Its parks and playgrounds are perfect for your children, and a surefire way for them to create lifelong friendships. Residents call the community Argihood! 

Avenir

This development prides itself as a sustainable community in the prestigious Palm Beach Gardens. The community will have a working farm, resort-style clubhouse, and a large nature preserve with its own walking trails, just to name a few! The development has to have its own retail space, so you won’t ever have to stray too far to get what you need. 

Westlake

Westlake is trying to make itself like a new city all on its own. This development will have homes with individualistic, modern designs, so the whole neighborhood doesn’t look like so many copy-paste developments going up. They’ll have townhomes, single-family homes, and estates available. The goal for Westlake is to create a place where all its families feel connected, all in the heart of Palm Beach County.

This neighborhood is also in the coveted Palm Beach Gardens! They have endless amenities that will make life for your entire family fun and exciting. Within this development, the atmosphere of a safe, active, and involved community is the complete end goal. Its homes are unique, and everyone in the family can enjoy the resident-only clubhouse. 

Alton Palm Beach Gardens 

The third and final development on this list to be a part of Palm Beach Gardens, the Alton neighborhood is perfect if you’re just beginning your family and looking for a starter home in a beautiful community. This neighborhood is conveniently located near the Alton Community Town Center, filled with shops and restaurants. Your family would have absolutely everything you need only minutes away.
