It’s the holiday season, and I wanted to put together a shortlist of beautiful Christmas lights in Palm Beach County that you shouldn’t miss! We’re lucky to have some truly gorgeous lights to get into the holiday spirit, even if it is still almost 90 degrees most days.
Coming back for its fifth year, the Palm Beach Zoo puts on their light display from November 23 to January 3. It’s wonderful to take the whole family to, or if you’re looking for a special date night they have some adult only evenings as well! They’ve got cookie decorating stations, a photo station with Santa, hourly light shows, and even snow in the fountains! Of course, your little ones can see some incredible animals while walking through a winter wonderland experience.
The downtown section of The Gardens decorates their trees with stunning LED light displays every year. While walking around with your family, you can all take in some intricate and dazzling lights! They also have a Santa’s workshop which is perfect for capturing those magical and classic holiday moments. Enjoy an evening strolling and shopping made even better with colorful light creations.
During this season, this historic lighthouse puts on a gorgeous collection of festive lights. Typically only open during the day, the lighthouse stays open until 9pm during the holiday season so you can really immerse yourself in the festivities. They have food, drinks, and live music for the family to enjoy. On November 23, they’re holding their annual Rendezvous The Light event, and on December 14 they’re hosting a Holiday Extravaganza party with a screening of Frozen.
On November 23, the Minzer Park Amphitheater hosts a Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony. Your little ones will be awestruck by the lighting of so many lights on a towering tree! Additionally, there are musical performances with holiday classics and tons of food vendors. Get together with the community to celebrate the kickoff of the festive season!
Mark your calendars for this incredible event in West Palm Beach. From December 5-31, Sandi Tree, a 35-foot tall tree, gets lit up as the start of the month-long event. Witnessing the lighting of the tree is truly magical; something you or your littles won’t forget! There’s also a 50-foot tall Ferris Wheel, intricate sand sculptures, a pirate ship and huge space for your children to run around and play. There are shops to go into for last minute gifts, food, and music!
