With the first official day of Autumn just around the corner, I thought I’d share some fall activities in Palm Beach you can do with your family. Of course, being Floridians we don’t get too much of the stereotypical fall weather, but we can still celebrate this wonderful season. From pop-up pumpkin patches to festivals I mentioned in a previous post, you and your littles can have a wonderful fall in Palm Beach.
Held at the Royal Palm Beach Commons Park, this fall fest is taking place on Friday, October 5th and Saturday October 6th. Each day is jam-packed with the ultimate family fun. There’s a children’s fun zone with games and live music on Friday, and Saturday has a whole lot more. Little carnival rides, costume contests, bounce houses, and pumpkin carving are just a few things on the list! It’s for all ages and promised family fun.
Just two weeks away, this festival at Bedner’s Farm has everything your little ones could want, and there’s plenty for the adults too! It’s a true fall affair, with a corn maze, tractor rides, pumpkin carving, and delicious autumnal treats. Frozen apple cider is a new take on an old classic, and of course there are cider doughnuts!
This fall fest is every child’s dream. Running from September 20th to November 7th, they have a variety of different features to explore. First up is the Super Pollinator Spectacular, which starts on September 20th. It’s all about the celebration of butterflies and the arrival of hummingbirds to South Florida. You get to choose which plants to bring back to your own garden to beacon the hummingbirds!
On October 19th from 10am to 4pm, bring your little ones to the Cox Science Center. They’ve got themed activities, live science demonstrations, and outdoor areas as well. Some of the things included in this fest are a petting zoo, music, lawn games, and a dinosaur safari. There will be local food trucks, so you can grab some snacks while learning and exploring.
At the Palm Beach Gardens, this special event is on October 19th at 11am and 12pm. This year, the feature is a mad scientist who will definitely wow your kiddos, and probably even wow you! The setup is a spooky looking cottage where the scientist lives, and will come out to perform for the children. It’s a brief but memorable event that your littles won’t forget!
