Studio Sessions vs At-Home Newborn Photography

I have an exciting announcement to make: Starting in the new year, I will be offering at-home newborn photography sessions! I can’t wait to get back to this aspect of my work, and bring in fine art, lifestyle imagery to your home. 

Why Am I Offering This Service Now?

Sometimes, newborns need to get used to their own environment! My studio is crafted to ensure every little one is at ease in the tranquil space. But, I understand that an at-home session can be easier for some. Although I will begin to offer this service to families, it will be on an exclusive basis. Each month, I am going to reserve two to three time slots devoted to at-home sessions. I want to make sure that each family gets access to my complete abilities. Offering more than three at-home sessions a month wouldn’t give me the time I need to accomplish that. Each at-home session will provide in-depth, fine art photography in the comfort of your home. In the coming weeks, I’ll write more about the details of the at-home services. Stay tuned for helpful advice like how to prepare your home for our session! 

Why I Still Love Studio Sessions

So, as you all know, I love my studio. It has everything a photographer needs: beautiful light, a full wardrobe, a kitchenette and a blooming outdoor space complete with a flourishing garden. In addition, I make sure that I keep my studio stocked with everything you could need, from snacks and water to diapers and wipes. Its central location right in Worth Avenue is wonderful for families who want to take a quaint stroll, or if dad needs to take your oldest for some air while mom gets her one-on-ones with your newborn. Another location perk? After the session, you can take the family out for ice cream (a great incentive for small kiddos), or for dinner at one of the fabulous restaurants nearby. With a session in my studio, I can guarantee the end result will be a work of art, every time.

Regardless of where you choose to have your newborn session, I am devoted to the comfort of your little one(s). As someone who has been working in this industry for as long as I have, I will say that you cannot beat the convenience of the studio. The environment and decor are styled to perfection, the atmosphere is soothing and you don’t have to lift a finger once you arrive.
